Application: roller, roller brush & airless spray

Painting Guide:

New or unpainted GI

·         Treat with Universal 999 Professional Rust Converter diluted with water at 1:8 ratio. 

·         Allow to dry.

·         Wipe surface with paint thinner.

Old or previously painted GI

·         Remove all loose and peeling paint.

·         Remove thin rust by wire brushing or scraping. Use Professional Rust Converter for severe rust. 

·         Sand and wipe clean the surface.

New unglazed tiles and concrete surface:

·         New concrete must be cured at least 28 days before paint application.

·         Please follow manufacturer’s recommendation on proper curing of cement.

Application:

For GI:

·         1st coat - Universal 999 Professional Metal Primer Red Oxide.

·         Allow 4 hours drying time.

·         2nd-3rd coat - Universal Roof Armour Paint of desired color.   

·         Allow 1-2 hours intercoat interval.

New unglazed tiles and concrete surfaces

·         1st coat - Universal Uni-Tile Primer White UNT-600 or Universal Aqua Guard Satin Finish White AQG-100.   

·         Allow 2 hours for drying time.

·         2nd-3rd coat - Universal Roof Armour Roofing Paint of desired color.

·         Allow 1-2 hours interval coat
