POPULAR FLATWALL ENAMEL PAINT is an economy fast-drying alkyd-based enamel paint that dries to a flat, glare-free finish.  Perfect as a stand-alone option for ceiling paint or as a primer for subsequent coats of paint. This paint is formulated for the budget-conscious consumer.

Painting Guide:

New or unpainted surface

·         Use kiln-dried wood with a maximum moisture content of 12%. 

·         Sand wood until smooth. 

·         Countersink nailheads then putty. 

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Old or previously painted surface

·        Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants. 

·        Treat mold or fungus infestation with bleaching solution (1 part bleach and 3 parts of water)

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application.

Application:

·         1st coat – Popular Flatwall Enamel White POP-400.

·         Allow 4 hours drying time

·         2nd-3rd coat – Popular Quick Dry Enamel of desired color.

·         Allow 8 hours intercoat interval
