UNIVERSAL UNI-TILE CAST is a putty-like paste that adds texture to wood, concrete and metal surfaces. It also fills in nail holes, small holes, cracks and other imperfections.

Painting Guide:

Concrete

New or unpainted surface

·         Remove dirt, dust, grit, loose mortar, oil, grease, and other contaminants.  New concrete must be cured at least 28 days or at  manufacturers recommendation before paint application.

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Old or previously painted surface

·         Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants. 

·         Treat mold or fungus infestation with bleaching solution (1 part bleach and 3 parts

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application.

Wood

New or unpainted surface

·         Use kiln-dried wood with a maximum moisture content of 12%. 

·         Sand wood until smooth. 

·         Countersink nailheads then putty. 

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Old or previously painted surface

·         Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants. 

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application.

Application:

·         1st coat – Universal Uni-Tile Primer White

·         Allow 1 hours for drying time.

·         2^nd coat – Universal Unitile Cast

·         Allow 4 hours for drying time.

·         3^rd& 4th coat - Universal Uni-Tile Topcoat of desired sheen & color.
