Painting Guide:

New or unpainted surface

·       Remove dirt, dust, grit, loose mortar, oil, grease, and other contaminants. 

·       New concrete must be cured at least 28 days or at manufacturers recommendation before paint application.

Old or previously painted surface

·       Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants. 

·       Treat mold or fungus infestation with bleaching solution (1 part bleach and 3 parts of water)

·       Wipe clean the surface before paint application.

Application:

·       1st coat - Universal AquaGuard 777 Primer White or Universal 888 Flat Latex White PLU-100 or Universal 999 Professional Flat Latex White PRO-100.  Allow 2 hours for drying time.

·        2nd-3rd coat - Universal Advantage Anti-bacterial Paint of desired sheen & color.   Allow 2 hours inter-coat interval

 Note: use Universal 999 Professional Concrete Putty to fix surface imperfections
