UNIVERSAL FLOOR MASTER EPOXY FOOD GRADE TOPCOAT is a two-component solvent base industrial grade epoxy topcoat designed for food grade manufacturing applications and tank linings.  Is a topcoat designed for the Universal Floor Master Epoxy Food Grade system.

Painting Guide:

Concrete

New or unpainted surface

·         Remove dirt, dust, grit, loose mortar, oil, grease, and other contaminants.  New concrete must be cured at least 28 days or at manufacturers recommendation.

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Old or previously painted surface

·         Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants. 

·         Treat mold or fungus infestation with bleaching solution (1 part bleach and 3 parts water)

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Metal

New or unpainted surface

·         Ensure that the metal surface is free from oil, grease, rust and, other surface contaminants.

·         Remove thin rust by wire brush, sanding or scraping. Use Professional Rust Converter for thick rust. 

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Old or previously painted surface

·         Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants by wire brushing or scraping.

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application

Application:

Concrete

·         1st coat - Universal Floor Master Deep Penetrating Sealer.

·         Allow 4 hours drying time.

·         2nd coat – Universal Floor Master Epoxy Food Grade Primer.

·         Allow 4 hours drying time.

·         3rd – 4th – Universal Floor Master Epoxy Food Grade Topcoat.

·         Allow 8 hours intercoat interval.

Metal

·         1st coat - Universal Floor Master Epoxy Food Grade Primer.

·         Allow 4 hours drying time.

·         2nd – 3rd – Universal Floor Master Epoxy Food Grade Topcoat.

·         Allow 8 hours intercoat interval.
